It was comfortable and within easy walking distance of the town, pubs and bars etc.

Room fixtures need checking i.e. about 3 light bulbs were out, can be a bit noisy.

    .The position of the Hotel.

Taps were a problem, however they were changed,Bedding looked as if it had been slept in,washed but not ironed.Nails coming through the carpet 3 of them1 was removed then we found 2 more, treading on them, could have caused a real problem, told the Manager about it ,he was going to deal with it.Tables were sticky.Wont stay there again...

No towels in room on arrival. No quilt cover on bed. Cold breakfast. Offered two crusts when requesting toast. No cereals offered on day 1. Had to look around the breakfast room on second day to find knives. Had to wait for water to heat before could have tea or coffee with breakfast.

Proprietor David and wife Sophia very efficient, friendly and helpful. Chef David's full English breakfast was excellent, Dinner also. Would recommend and stay there again. Great atmosphere in Blues Bros theme Bar.

The location was perfect, so close to the beach and lovely walks.Fabulous view from window. Quiet inside and outside, thank goodness. Polite helpful and friendly staff, lovely breakfasts.I Liked the inscription " arrive as customers and leave as friends" Good to be able to use my laptop while I was there. Many thanks for a lovely stay. X

The room was not huge but perfectly adequate for our needs. The drawer of the wardrobe was broken - didn't realise my own strength! Haha.

No Extractor fan in the shower room. Shower room could have been cleaner. It was advertised to have free parkling. It was not clarified that it was street parking, rather rhan a dedicated carpark

Friendly homely atmosphere we had a fantastic stay at the hotel and was perfectly situated near the beach, park and shops, close enough to walk in to town but on the outskirts so not too noisy at night would reccomend it and stay there again

We were in Margate for a wedding, which was going to start at 2 pm, which was the time for check-in. However, the staff were kind to accommodate us earlier (of course, I had to make a call in advance). But also, staff were in general kind with everything else, ordering taxi, helping with luggage, etc.

    1. It was at first challenging to figure out the shower; it needed extra pushing on a button than it should have been. 2. Coffee for breakfast could be better, not the 'just add water' kind, but properly brewed, otherwise the breakfast was good; I would also add a fruit plate.

    The bed was comfortable!

The bathroom door was very difficult to open, due to the floor covering being distorted. This made shutting the door extremely difficult. Difficult to find any signs of life around the hotel and the bar/restaurant area was closed in the evening.

A nice hotel which is located right on the seafront of Cliftonville. The view of the sea from the window at the top of the hotel (in room 9) where I stayed was very pretty. The facilities etc are simple which makes a short stay in this hotel ideal. We had a lovely cooked breakfast in the morning and the staff were very pleasant and welcoming.

The room had a small bedside lamp which was useful however did not have a plug attached therefore we were unable to use it. The power shower was really good also, however took some time to get the temperature right. When getting out of the shower the water from the inside of the door leaked onto the floor and there was no bath mat provided. Also the bins in both the room and the en-suite could be bigger to carry more waste.

The staff member was very helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was a bargain for 5 people. The breakfast was plentiful and okay.

There was no-one around when we arrived and had to wait 15 minutes on the door step. Not enough tea/cogffe/biscuits in a room for 5 people.

The roon was dirty and wasnt hoovered, pipes from upstairs made noises, the bed has had it,the furnishings are old fashioned the whole atmasphere was one of grime, but nice view

The seaview was good and the breakfast.

The room could need updating. It was a single room and the furniture, carpet etc. was very dated.
